Michael Trycieckyj (pronounced “try-check-ee” and also affectionally known as Trycheck) is a performer, songwriter, producer, and music educator from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With a diverse background in rock, folk, and choral music, Michael has performed at World Café Live, the BB&T Pavilion, Westminster Abbey and venues across the city of Philadelphia. As a producer and engineer, Michael records local artists including his bands, Andorra and Box of Books, with albums available on all major streaming platforms. As an educator both in the classroom and in private lessons, Michael teaches general music, choir, voice, and guitar. Michael graduated from West Chester University with a bachelor’s degree in music education and Temple University with a master’s degree in music education.
